Singing since the age 10, Somalia is an emerging R&B artist from Atlanta, blending R&B, Neo-Soul, Pop, and Hip-Hop into a sound all her own. Fusing R&B, Neo-Soul, Pop, and Hip-Hop, Somalia draws inspiration from legends like Brandy, Anita Baker, Minnie Riperton, Missy Elliott, and Jill Scott. She collaborates with live musicians to create a distinct sound that thrives on stage, which led her to self-fund and organize her debut tour, The Rock Steady Love Tour, a six-city journey that captivated audiences with her dynamic performances.

A few of her live credits include working with the Atlanta BeltLine, National Black Arts Festival, ELEVATE Atlanta, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, NAMI, and Six Flags Over Georgia . Singing since age 10, she sharpened her skills through musical theatre, talent shows, and a B.A. from Spelman College, while studying music abroad at Goldsmiths University of London. She was recently chosen for MTV’s First Time Composers program, Somalia continues to captivate with her viral hit “Mimosa” (15k+ views) and her new EP *A Soft Place to Land* (2024), available now on all streaming platforms.
